Virginia Small Business Development Center
We are an organization of 29 local SBDCs across Virginia providing
professional business counseling, training and information resources to
help grow and strengthen Virginia businesses. In 2008, over 4,200
business owners and managers received one-on-one counseling and more
than 10,100 attended a training program offered by a local SBDC. SBDC
professionals assist with business planning, marketing, financial
analysis, access to capital, business start-up and other specialized
services as requested.

Women's Business Center of Northern Virginia
The Women's Business Center of Northern Virginia was funded to help any
woman in the Northern Virginia area who is interested in starting or
expanding her small business. The Women's Business Center offers free
and low-cost training programs, free one on one technical counseling,
marketing assistance, access to those who can make loans, help in
getting special certifications to do business with local, state and
federal government, a resource library, computers and Internet access,
and more!
