South Texas Women's Business Center
The South Texas Women's Business Center, a 501c3, provides the
necessary tools to open, sustain, and grow businesses through training,
one-on-one counseling, effective roundtable discussions, and innovative
networking opportunities. We provide assistance and training to women,
minorities and the economically disadvantaged in order to promote
economic self-sufficiency. The Center is a resource center for our
clients and a link to lending programs and is a program of the South
Texas Business Fund, the non-profit lending arm of the City of San
Antonio's Economic Development Department.
The North Texas Small Business Development Center
SBDC conducts research, counsels and trains business people in
managing, financing and operating small businesses, providing
comprehensive information services and access to experts in a variety
of fields. Each SBDC encourages unique local efforts to meet
small business needs in its area. SBDCs develop and maintain
partnerships among community organizations and agencies: local, state
and federal, to provide a focal point for broad networks of public and
private resources at the community level.
The University of Houston Small Business Development Center
Our no-cost, confidential consulting assistance is customized to your
needs. We will help you evaluate your business idea, prepare marketing
strategies, determine financing needs, put together a loan proposal,
conduct industry and market research, and create an actionable business
plan. Our professional consultants have extensive experience in diverse
industries such as retail, technology and manufacturing, and expertise
in the areas of marketing, finance and management.
The Northwest Texas Small Business Development Center
Each Small Business Development Center provides counseling,
technical assistance, training workshops, and reference resources for
small businesses and entrepreneurs. SBDC counselors maintain the
highest ethical standards of confidentiality with clients and
counseling services are available at no charge. The center is staffed
by professionals with proven ability to promote growth, innovation,
profitability, increased productivity and improved management of small
business.
San Antonio Small Business Development Center
We assist current and potential small business owners to achieve
success by providing professional business advice in a consistent,
efficient and friendly manner that creates value for the client.

The Fort Worth Business Assistance Center
The Fort Worth Business Assistance Center offers FREE private and
confidential counseling services on an array of topics including how to
