Hi, I am the Owner/Founder/Fearless Leader of Digital Women ® an
International online community for women in business. We started back
in March of 1998 and have been going strong ever since. I never even
saw my first computer until I was 40 years old. I taught myself how to
use it then taught myself how to design a web page and then there was
no stopping me! I took a sorrowful break in 2004 when I lost a son to
suicide. It was the members who helped me crawl back out of a deep dark
hole. I am forever grateful to them. Women helping women is what
we have always been about and they didn't fail even then.
I also love graphic
design and am currently trying to start a personal website offering
that as a side business. I think EVERY woman should have at least one
business of her own! I used to be a commercial muralist. I had to end
that career as ceilings became a favorite to clients and they were
getting too high and I am afraid of heights. A "shaky" brush makes
messy painting, LOL! I still do painting on the side when I can.
I love doing any kind of craft work as well.
I also love to fish. I
am currently on the coast getting in as much fishing as I can when I'm
not sitting at this computer. I drink too much coffee and dream of too
much cheesecake.

Digital Women actually started as a hobby. It spread so fast and became
such a favorite to women that I first opened a mail list where they
could interact with each other. This wasn't enough so we just kept
growing into the great networking group that we are today. Our
members are some of the finest women in the world. Their talent, their
intelligence, their sharing and caring attitude is what makes this
community something to be admired. I know I admire them immensely
I invite you to join us. If you are just starting out or even if you
are an old pro, there is something here for you, I guarantee it! I
learn something new from them every single day. I would be lost without
them.
