Laura is one of the owners and creative director of Colorado Mountain Media.  She is the drive behind the web development, marketing, print and digital design creations.  Laura first started designing in 1991 when she start her first company.  In 1996 Laura learned web design and development techniques. Laura has kept her skill level up to the latest and greatest web technologies, she is a designer first, developer second, but has an ability to do both.  She has worked with several agencies, where she was productive in turning design processes from tables to web standards, encouraging the use of CSS,  taught coworkers on the importance of usability, and encouraged the use of XHTML for web pages.  Laura is back on track with her own business after surviving a serious car wreck which resulted in 4 broken bones and two major surgeries. Her latest surgery was a fusion of 14 vertebrae in April 2010.  With the surgeries behind her Laura has put together her new business, Colorado Mountain Media, a multimedia design agency
