New York Small Business Development Center
Through a network of 24 regional centers, the New York State Small
Business Development Center delivers high quality business counseling
and training to New Yorkers who want to start a business or improve the
performance of an existing business. Thanks to our partners in the
public and private sectors, our services are free of charge.

The Business Outreach Center Network
The Business Outreach Center (BOC) Network is a micro-enterprise/small
business development organization with over a decade-long record of
delivering customized business services to under-served entrepreneurs
in New York City and, more recently, in Newark, New Jersey, as well as
capacity-building services to organizations establishing and operating
community and micro-enterprise development programs.
Canisius Women's Business Center
The Women's Business Center is a collaborative effort between the Small
Business Administration and Canisius College. More than 4,000
professionals in Western New York have taken advantage of the Canisius
College Women’s Business Center to develop thriving business enterprises
Women's Entrepreneurial Business Center in New York
The WEBC assists current and prospective businesses in Franklin, Essex,
Clinton and St. Lawrence counties, including the Akwesasne Reservation,
providing business counseling and technical assistance and training to
current and prospective businesses owned and controlled by women.
However, the WEBC is not discriminatory and also assists current and
prospective male business owners.
Local Development Corporation of East New York
The Local Development Corporation of East New York is a not-for-profit
organization. LDC initiatives include working with city agencies to
promote safety and sanitation, preserving and developing the local
industrial base and attracting new businesses to the area. The LDC
provides support to businesses located in the community’s industrial
areas, commercial strips and retail malls. We also provide assistance
to individuals who are starting or expanding businesses. These range
from sole proprietorships with a few employees to larger companies
employing hundreds of people.
The Women's Business Resource Center
Our mission is to assist women entrepreneurs as well as minority
business owners through provision of financial and technical assistance
services. We offer one-one-one counseling, monthly informational
roundtables and entrepreneurial training courses. These services are
offered both in English and Spanish. Our main objective is to
close the technical assistance gap that limits the growth potential and
job creation capacity of small to mid-sized companies.
Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (WISE) Center
The WISE center is an exciting resource for women entrepreneurs at all
stages of business development. If you have a business idea or a dream,
if you are starting a business, or have an established business which
you’re growing, we can help. The WISE center provides expertise and
support to business owners wanting to go to the next level of success .
We offer counseling, coaching, consulting, and training. We also
provide essential networking and mentoring opportunities.
The Women's Business Center - Upstate New York
The WBC is the first center of its kind in Upstate New York, dedicated
to training and assisting women in business or those who want to
startup a business. This Center provides a variety of business skills
and ongoing technical assistance to women in thirty-four counties.
Women's Enterprise Development Center
The mission of the Women’s Enterprise Development Center is to build a
vibrant community of women entrepreneurs by providing high-quality
training programs and support services to both start-up and established
women business owners in Westchester County and the Lower Hudson
Valley, including training and access to microenterprise funding for
minority and economically disadvantaged women.
