Maine Small Business Development Centers (Maine SBDC)
Maine Small Business Development Centers provide comprehensive business
management assistance, training, resource and information services to
Maine's micro, small, and technology-based business communities. The
focus of the Maine SBDC is to assist in the creation and maintenance of
viable micro, small and technology-based businesses and the jobs these
businesses provide.

Coastal Enterprises INC f Maine
CEI is a private, nonprofit Community Development Corporation (CDC) and
Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with roots in
the civil rights movement. Founded in 1977, the organization
provides financing and support in the development of job-creating small
businesses, natural resources industries, community facilities, and
affordable housing. CEI's primary market is Maine, but, in recent
years, has expanded several of its financing programs to northern New
England, upstate New York and beyond. CEI applies Triple Bottom Line of
economy, equity and ecology criteria in its investment and development
strategies.
