The Governor's Office of Economic Development (GoED) was created by Executive Order as a one-stop shop for business assistance and to facilitate and stimulate economic growth through the development and implementation of strategic policies and partnerships with the private sector, community, local, and national organizations that enhance human and capital infrastructure as well as increase California’s competitive advantage in the global marketplace.

Los Angeles Minority Business Enterprise Center (MBEC)
To increase the participation of ethnically owned businesses in the free enterprise system by providing consulting services, access to market opportunities, business financing and advanced business training. As a general rule, in order to qualify for our services, you must be a minority-owned business with over $500,000 in revenue.

MCSC California
Mission Community Services Corporation and the Women's Business Center are dedicated to enhancing opportunities for potential entrepreneurs and small business owners to become self-sustaining, successful contributors to their communities, with special assistance for low-income, minority and non-profit businesses.

Women's Initiative for Self Employment
Bay Area non-profit which provides high-potential, lower-income women the training, resources and on-going support to start and grow their business. The business management training, technical assistance, and financial services we provide — in English and Spanish — improve the quality of life for the women we serve, their families and our communities.

The Institute for Women Entrepreneurs (IWE)
A non-profit business development program of the Rancho Santiago Community College District Foundation (RSCCD) and is located in Santa Ana, the heart of Orange County, California. The IWE, which is funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Office of Women's Business Ownership (OWBO), provides its clients with support needed to start and grow successful businesses.Our program is uniquely tailored to serve women entrepreneurs and provides quality services and innovative programs for the economic advancement of the underserved Orange County community.
